Autonomous Vehicle Systems' Flying Fox developed by several AutoCommute personnel. This system operated autonomously through harsh, off-road desert conditions.

Our Automated Ground Vehicle System (AGVS) provides a platform that our enabling automated technologies can be tested on. Various autonomous technologies can be combined to give any level of automation desired by the operator.

For human operation, the AGVS can provide warnings for:

  • Lane departure
  • Exceeding speed limit
  • Indication of upcoming turns
  • Potential obstacles or hazardous conditions

The AGVS can also be operated remotely, providing the operator with:

  • 360° situational awareness of objects in vicinity of the vehicle
  • Operator interface which provides all vehicle system feedback
  • Same warnings available during human operation on the operator interface

The AGVS can also be operated fully autonomously, providing:

  • Autonomous control of all vehicle systems
  • Autonomous route planning and dynamic re-routing
  • Adherence to all safety requirements as specified by the contracting agency
